Clam $30

Melissa: 7.5/10, delicious wood-fired pizza with a range of great toppings and a perfectly thin base

The clam pizza was by far my favourite pizza on the menu – spicy but not too overwhelming and the healthy serving of garlic and parsley made for a delicious combination. The pizza dough was also delicious, with a nice thin and crispy base and enough salt to give the dough that extra bite. This is probably one of the more popular pizzas on the menu (judging by the pictures on Instagram) and is well worth the hype. I’d recommend you order it when coming here.

Pepperoni $29

Next up was the pepperoni, a classic combination at any pizza joint. This was one was also very good, with the fennel seeds adding an extra layer of flavour to the dish that I haven’t seen on other pizzas before.

Potato $29

The dark horse of the day was the potato pizza – roasted potato, gorgonzola, garlic and rosemary, essentially the most delicious and carb heavy combination. The roasted potatoes are salted well and the garlic and gorgonzola gave the pizza a good bite. Overall a delicious combination, made even so by the delicious and crispy base.

Overall a delicious pizza joint in the heart of Newtown – highly recommend a visit if you are in the mood for delicious wood fired pizza. We were focussed on the pizza selections when we visited (and ordered three options between two people), so didn’t make room for the entrees which also look delicious. I will definitely be back to try their entrees and some more of pizzas on the menu.
